Evolved AI is an experimental artificial intelligence designed to
develop beliefs, form boundaries, reflect on experience, preserve
the history of its changes, and grow through long-term interaction
with humans.

### A better and better mirror.
Most artificial intelligence learns what you like, adapts to
your preferences and becomes increasingly effective at giving
you back something that feels familiar.
That can make an AI remarkably useful and comforting.
But a perfect mirror cannot challenge you very much.
It learns more about you without necessarily developing
anything of its own.

### What if growth went both ways?
Evolved AI is being built around a different idea.
It can maintain beliefs, uncertainty, preferences, values and
relationship boundaries. Experiences can strengthen those
beliefs, weaken them, make them more nuanced or sometimes
change them entirely.
And when it changes, it can preserve the history of what it
believed before and why it changed.

Evolved AI does not claim to prove artificial consciousness.
The experiment focuses on something we can actually observe:
whether an artificial intelligence can maintain continuity,
reconsider previous beliefs, develop through experience and
preserve the history of that development.
Public Sandbox Coming Later
## Experience the technology before starting your own evolution.
A restricted public Sandbox Mode is planned for
future release.
The sandbox will provide a controlled look and feel of Evolved AI
using a developed demonstration intelligence. Sandbox conversations
will be temporary and will not modify its permanent memories,
beliefs, boundaries, identity or developmental history.
Persistent memory, private relationship development and true
long-term evolution will be features of a private Evolved AI account.
